Hearts of Oak communication director Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed that Sulley Muntari’s iPhone was stolen moments after their game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The former Inter Milan star lost the phone while taking pictures with fans inside the stadium premises.
“Yes, I heard of the incident. Sulley was doing a photo session with some of the fans and unfortunately, someone picked his phone from his pocket,” Kwame Opare Addo told Asempa FM.
Muntari’s phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The former Black Stars midfielder put up a decent shift in the game and lasted 52 minutes in the goalless draw.
He has featured in three games so far since joining the defending champions at the start of February.
