“I am enthused on the League cancellation sake of Karela” – Rashid Mohammed
Techiman Eleven Wonders defender Rashid Mohammed has backed the executive council of the FA for annulling the 2019/20 football season.
The Ghana football season was truncated following the rapid spread of the novel Corona virus Pandemic.
The hardworking defender in an interview with West End Radio on Tuesday revealed that,he felt so exited following the cancellation of the season because his former club was struggling to survive in the league.
” Yeah very good call for all of us,the pandemic is real and it’s better for us to cancel it for the sake of our lives”.
The former Skyy FC centre back who had an excellent season for Eleven Wonders before COVID-19 also said, Karela United has been the team at his hearts and it good call and big relief to reassemble when football returns proper.
“I hope its good the league has been cancelled,Karela were having bad times and since the league is cancelled it good news for them to work “he added.
Rashid Mohammed made 9 appearances in the 2019/20 football season.
