It has become a known fact that Ghana Football takes the bottom spot on the list of the 10 best football leagues in Africa, due to it’s poor payments and low standards.

Ghanaian league players are undoubtedly one of the African league players that earn below $1,000 per month despite the highly competitive nature of the league.

Currently, the Ghana Premier League has no sponsor don’t even think of the Division One.

Sadly, the second highest league in Ghana, “Division One League” has almost 75% of the clubs( players/ coaches) not receiving salary at all not to mention their technical team.

Domesticsportsgh.com statistics show that even clubs in the Western, Central and Ashanti Region of the zone two are richer than those in the other zones, which explains why many of those coaches and players playing in the Division One League zone two are earning a great fortune even in the lowest team.

In this article we are going to reveal the top 5 highest paid teams in the Division One League Zone two, which consist of 16 clubs from Ashanti, Western and Central Region.

1.SAMARTEX
They are no doubt the highest paid team in the Division One League zone 2 because of their recent partnerships and sponsorships, no wonder they are leading the log with 34 points after 15 games.
The club is owned and managed by Samartex Company Limited.
