Newly promoted WRFA Division II side America FC traveled to Mpataba when they took on King Bobo and a goal made sure they grabbed all three points.
A game with high intensity but very entertaining one saw both teams play with tactical disciplines and showing some qualities of play.
The home side, created some couple of chances in the first half when they attacked with some beautiful football.
The visitors, American FC were very resilient and discipline tactically and technically. The first half ended goalless.
Both teams started the second half just as the first half, all pushing to have a lead but the only only goal in the game came very late which happened on the 82nd minute, with just 8 minutes to go.

Francis Amoako pass found Philip Amakye who controlled it very nice to put the visitors ahead.
With few minutes left to play, King Bobo FC were knocking to have an equalizer but the American FC defense led by Spark made sure they defended their goal.
The game ended 0-1 for American FC, making them pick their first win their first game in their debut season in the WRFA Division Two.
