The event is said to have occurred last weekend, with photos emerging of the two beautifully dressed in traditional attire from their respective countries.

The two were said to have met in 2016 while Onuachu was playing for Danish football club Midtjylland, and they have been together since.

Onuachu joined Danish club FC Midtjylland on a scholarship from their Nigerian affiliate team, Ebedei, in 2012.

He was a prolific scorer for their youth team and later that year made his first-team debut in the Cup before making his league debut in December 2012.

The 28-year-old signed a new three-year contract with the club in June 2013, which he extended for another three years in August 2015. He was loaned to Vejle BK in early 2015 before returning to FC Midtjylland for the 2015–16 season.

Onuachu is currently on the books of Genk, a club he joined in August 2019.

He was called up to the Nigeria national team for the first time in March 2019, and has 16 appearances scoring three goals.
