Women’s Zonal Championships: Ridge City FC beat Blessed Ladies to secure promotion to Women’s Premier League

Ridge City Football club have secured qualification and will compete in the Women’s Premier League during the 2022/23 football season.

The capital-based club during the 2021/22 football season excelled in their division and as a result, quailed for the playoff.

They beat Blessed Ladies 1-0 in the final playoff to grab the remaining slot in the Women’s Premier League.

Following a hard-fought 1-0 win on Sunday, Ridge City FC secured a historic promotion to feature in the top-flight league.

Ridge City Ladies and Essiam Socrates following their historic qualification will play in the 2022/23 Women’s Premier League ( WPL).
