Communication director of Nzema Kotoko football club Mr Tijani Mumuni has revealed that management have not paid the players since the break of the league due to the financial situation presented by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The impact of the COVID-19 on elite sports has been devastating putting a whole lots of Sporting events into a standstill.
” The Pandemic has made things difficult for us, infact since the break we are yet to pay our players “Things are difficult financially but things will change very soon”.he revealed this in an interview with West End Radio.
According to West End Radio, Nzema Kotoko has monthly expediture of Ghc15,500 on salaries alone.
However, the Ampain based club need to cough Ghc 60,000 to settle all outstanding salaries from March to June.
