Teleku Bokazo have lifted the 2023 Weisfa cup after beating defending Champions Anokyi United on 5-4 on penalties following draw in full time.
Teleku Bokazo hit with the ground running with some beautiful displays, controlling possession and dominating with most part of the game.
Anokyi were to cautious and tried most of the times reacting to their opponents tactical approach instead imposing their game plan on their opponent.
Teleku Bokazo were finally declared winners after defender Mathew Tanoe Kwofie converted the last penalty to win for the mining community.
The 6th edition of the Weisfa cup had 16 communities participated, Nkroful came third and Alabokazoplaced fourth after the final round of the competition.
Ernest Adjei won the most valuable player, whiles NASS teenagers Bismark Ackon and Ishmeal Arizi won the most discovery and Young player of the tournament respectively.
The goalkeeper of the tournament went to Mathew Fordjour and Peter Ackah won the golden show award with 5 goals for Teleku Bokazo.
