Brace hero Sampson Eduku bags MVP award against Hearts of Oak

Tamale City striker Sampson Eduku was adjudged Man of the Match in their 3-1 thrashing of Hearts of Oak on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

The former Karela United poster boy was a thorn in the fresh of the Hearts of Oak defence throughout the game and his effort were rewarded after recess.

Eduku put Citizens ahead on 19 minutes with a magical individual brilliance and later scored from spot kick to give the home team two goals advantage.

Mohammed Yahaya finished off the Phobians with a third goal in the 55th minutes whiles Victor Aidoo pulled one back for the visitors to make it 3-1.
