Nkroful District Court presided over by her worship Awo Amissah French has granted embattled Karela United suspended winger Philip Flamini bail with reported three sureties.
He was charged on three counts including sexual assault as well as defiling a 13-year old school girl.
The incident happened on Saturday, April 29 where the 24-year old Ghana Premier League star was alleged to have defiled a teenager at the team’s club house in Edwakpole, a suburb of Aiyinase in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region and was later remanded for 1 week.
The former Sekondi Hasaacas winger has been in the police custody since April 29, 2023.
The accused person, Philip Flamini, is to reappear before court on Monday May 15, 2023 according to reports monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com.
Meanwhile club has already issued a statement suspending Philip Flamini with immediate effect, pending the conclusion of the ongoing Police investigation into the allegations.
