The head coach of the National U-17 female team, Coach Baba Nuhu has handed a call up to young and vibrant midfielder Alexia Ehomah, who plays for National Division one league women’s side, Basake Holy Royals.

Thirty players has been invited to begin camping ahead of their 2020 FIFA U-17 World Cup final round qualifier against Nigeria.

Ghana will take on Nigeria in October/November in search of a ticket to represent Africa at the World showpiece slated for India in 2021.

Alexia Ehomah is a student of Bonzo Kaku senior high school at Awiebo in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
She was born in Basake, Nzema on January 9, 2005.(15years)

Playing Style
Very good player and typical attacking minded Midfielder with perfect vision of the ball, she was a star for BOKASS school team during the inter school games held in Half Assini in 2019.

Alexia, is an accurate free-kick taker and likes to shoot from outside the penalty area. Her movement off the ball is also key, with her often roaming around the attacking areas of the pitch, or dropping deep to pick up possession

She has also represented Nzema zone on multiple times in the regional level.

She has a nickname” SHE PRAYER “.
