The Chairman of the Western Region branch of Sports Writers Association of Ghana ( SWAG), George Kuntu Blankson has called for unity in order to enable the growth and continuity of the association as a driving force for the region’s prosperity.
According to Mr.Kuntu Blankson, recent misunderstanding and lack of commitments among members of the association does not auger well with the promotion of the sports in the region.
The ace sports journalists was re-elected as SWAG chairman in the Western Region after going unopposed.
After being confirmed as the chairman of the association in a short ceremony, the veteran broadcaster called on all sports journalists from the two regions to remain committed and united towards the course of SWAG and also count on the new leadership to be up and doing.
