Sensational winger, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye picked 47 votes (58%) to beat Humin Mohammed Dafie’s 30 votes (33%) to win Passion 40 Plus Supporters Player of the Year award.
A total of 176 people had their say including selected journalists, Passion 40 members and the general public.
According to the organizers, Abdul Yaya-Rahman reportedly picked 25 votes to Evans Adomako Wiredu’s 23 and Kharim Ayeh’s 21 votes.
Former Skyy FC midfield dynamo Ebenezer Ocran completed the top 6 with just 11 votes.
