The decision, conveyed through a communique released on Tuesday, July 10, comes in the wake of the board’s successful accomplishment of guiding the Soccer Mountaineers to qualify for the Division One League.

Recognizing the need for a fresh perspective and new leadership to navigate the club’s future, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II has taken the decisive step of dissolving the current board.

The move aims to chart a new course for Okwawu United, a team that has long relied on the “Club 100” initiative as a cornerstone of its operations and success.

To spearhead this new era, Nana Antwi Darkwa has been appointed as the coordinator for the “Club 100” initiative.

Nana Antwi Darkwa, a well-known business mogul renowned for his substantial contributions to the club and extensive experience in entrepreneurship, has been entrusted with the crucial task of steering the affairs of the Asaase Aban Boys.

His primary objective will be to lead the team towards the highly coveted Ghana Premier League promotion.

Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the outgoing board for their dedication and achievements, recognizing them as worthy ambassadors for the club.

Additionally, he conveyed his best wishes to the team as they embark on the preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 Division One League season.
