Felix Afena-Gyan bags hat-trick for US Cremonese in pre-season friendly

Ghana international, Felix Afena-Gyan put on a show over the weekend during a friendly match between US Cremonese and Pieve Di Bono.

In the friendly played in the afternoon, the talented striker started for his team as his side stepped up preparations ahead of the start of the 2023/24 football season.

Having put in a good shift, Felix Afena-Gyan got his name on the scoresheet in the 14th minute to double the lead for US Cremonese.

As the game progressed he got himself into the groove and scored two more goals to make it a hat-trick at the end of the friendly game.

The game eventually ended with US Cremonese beating Pieve Di Bono 18-0.

Vazquez, Tsadjout, Gondo, Okereke, and Ciofani netted a brace in the friendly while Valeri, Buonaiuto, Sekulov, Lochoshvili, and Zanimacchia added a goal each.

Following the relegation of US Cremonese, Felix Afena-Gyan and his teammates are preparing for life in the Italian Serie B.

The club will fight for promotion to Serie A during the 2023/24 football season.
