The jersey numbers for Ghana’s 27-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nation have been released, with some interesting numbers.
The numbers were limited to only the 27 players who were named in the squad for the tournament.
Black Stars new boy Richmond Lamptey was handed jersey number 22 while Osman Bukari will wear jersey number 11.
Black Stars captain Andre Ayew maintained his jersey number 10, while his brother Jordan Ayew stuck to his jersey number 9.
Athletic Bilbao stars Inaki Williams and Mohammed Kudus will wear no.19 and no.20, respectively.
However, Joseph Paintsil has been handed the number 13 jersey, with Mohammed Salisu taking the number 6 jersey.
Right back, Alidu Seidu and Denis Odoi got the number 2 and 3 respectively whiles Elisha Owusu took the jersey number 15.
The jersey numbers for goalkeepers are jersey number 1 for Richard Ofori, number 12 for Joojo Wallocot and number 16 for Lawrence Ati Zigi.
