According to Nigerian news outlet, BSN each Super Eagles player could pocket about $35,000 should they win the title at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
This follows the approval of the Federal Government win-bonus of $5,000-a-match for each Super Eagles player at the competition.
A draw will fetch a player half that amount, which is $2,500.
The Super Eagles will need to win seven matches to be champions of Africa, 10 years since their last conquest in South Africa.
With the winner guaranteed $7m prize money, the players could earn more money if they win the competition.
The Super Eagles are looking to win a fourth title in Cote d’Ivoire.
They are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The 3-times African champions will play Equatorial Guinea on Sunday at the Alassane Ouattara Sports Stadium in Abidjan.
