Black Stars players are reportedly set to receive $30,000 each if they qualify for the round 16 stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, according to Kumasi based Angel Sports.
The four times Africa champions will face the Mambas of Mozambique today in a final group stage match at the Stade De Olympic Alassane Quattara in Ebimbe.
Ghana are on the brink of a group-stage exit and would need a win to avoid a third group-stage exit in their last three tournaments.
Should the Senior National team progress to the last 16 stage each member of the playing body will pocket $30,000 USD as qualification bonus.
The Black Stars and Mozambique have one point each after two games at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Either nation could finish second place or third place with a win, depending on the outcome of Cape Verde’s game against Egypt.
Cape Verde have already booked their qualification with 6 points; Egypt followed suit with 2 points while Ghana and Mozambique occupied 3rd and 4th place on the same points but separated by goals difference.
