Former Karela United winger, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye spoke for the first time after joining Samartex.
The player expressed his feelings in an interview with the club media channel.
The Black Galaxies speedster said:
“I am excited to be joining FC Samartex, especially considering the Club’s vision. It’s a well-established club that offers great opportunities for ambitious players. I’m truly excited.”
“Adapting shouldn’t be too challenging for me, as I’ve experienced a similar environment before. I’m familiar with most of the players, and I’m confident they will help me make a smooth transition.”
“The team is already thriving, as evidenced by the club’s current position. I am prepared to unite with my teammates to secure as many victories as possible in the upcoming second round.” he added.
Owusu Boakye joined Samartex on a 2-year deal from Karela United and he’s expected to add more options upfront for the timber giant when the second round of the Ghana Premier League resume next month.
