General Manager of Samartex, Edmund Ackah has revealed reasons for pitching his team in Nzema, preferably Ellembelle ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
In a video posted on the club social media platforms, the astute football administrator lauded the Nzema clubs and their competitiveness.
Edmund Ackah said, they sat down, planned and considered all other factors before settling on the Nzema trip for their 10-day mid season training.
” Nzema teams are great and very competitive, we played them during our time in Division One league and I believe they always give their best, so choosing the place for our mid-season tour was great and good ideal.
We need this kind of preparations ahead of the second round”. He noted.
“We also needed to choose a place with excellent training, sporting and hostel facilities.” He added.
Samartex will travel to Dormaa to play Aduana Stars in a tricky away fixture on matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Timber giant are leading the Ghana Premier League summit with 32 points.
