Jomoro based Zico FC have progressed to the semi-finals stage of the Western Regional Football Association Super Middle League after winning their last game with Soccer Lions by 1-0.
The group C leaders needed a win to qualify for the next stage of the tournament as a draw was equal to a lose if Givova SC who were second in the group won their last game.
The Tikobo 1 side team stamped their authority in the game with a goal from Emmanuel Ackah in the 25th minutes which they maintained till the end of the game earning all 3 points to top their group.
Zico FC will be facing Nsuopung Fidelity in the semi-finals stage of the tournament Friday, 28th June 2024 at 3:00PM.
