Zico Professionals has moved to secure an injunction from the high court to halt the final match of the Western Regional Super Middle League on Monday, 1st July, 2024.
The Tikobo 1 based side was declared losers during their semi-finals clash with Nsuopong Fidelity for fielding unqualified player.
However, this led to the team preventing the officials to honor the final match on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The games was interrupted yesterday at Nzema Aiyinase after Zico Professionals fans besieged the venue after they lost a protest against Nsuopong Fidelity.
Domesticsportsgh.com understands, Zico Professionals have acquired court injunction to be placed on the said final.
The Jomoro based club seeks to halt the final match until it’s concerns with the WRFA are resolved.
