Division One League side Wamanafo Mighty Royals have reached an agreement with Elmina Sharks to sign left-back Mathew Tanoe Kwofie, Domesticsportsgh.com can exclusively report.

The 22-year-old was one of the best left-backs in the 2023/24 Division One League ( Zone 2) and has impressed with his performances for Elmina Sharks, which has caught the eye of Wamanafo’s technical team.

The defender is set to join the Brong Ahafo club on a 1-year contract, pending a medical and agreeing personal terms.

The deal is now sealed with sources indicating that he is expected to sign the contract in the coming days.

He featured 23 times for Elmina Sharks in all competitions last season, registering an assist, and is seen as a valuable addition to Wamanafo squad.

Mathew Tanoe Kwofie has previously played for Karela United, Unistar Academy before his move to Elmina Sharks.
