Next Season’s GPL Title will be ours– Hearts goalie Richard Baidoo
Goalkeeper Richard Baidoo has said the Hearts of Oak squad aims to win next seasons Ghana Premier League (GPL) title and have thanked President Akufo-Addo for easing restrictions on contact sport in this COVID-19 period.
With the greenlight given for the resumption of football, the young shot-stopper believes it paves the way for the Phobians to challenge for the ultimate next season.
Hearts have not won the Ghanaian topflight title since the season of 2008/09 and our campaign to win last season’s competition was curtailed following the cancellation of the league after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Baidoo has welcomed the easing of the restrictions on contact sports and insists a good preseason is what the team needs to go all out for the league title.
“Our dream is to win the league next season for Hearts of Oak fans”, Baidoo told Hearts Media, adding that “trust me next seasons GPL trophy belongs to us.”
