Basake Holy Stars head coach, Abdul Gazale, has highlighted that, there is a general problem facing the strikers in the Ghana Premier League including his side Basake Holy Stars.
The young gaffer, in his post match with Domesticsportsgh.com ” Back Pass show” after Hearts of Oak stalemate revealed, that there’s absolutely a general problem with the strikers in Ghanaian topflight.
“Ghanaian terrain, everybody is complaining, everybody is talking about strikers, I think it’s something we should look at it, it’s a general problem not only us, we will try to work on our players, like I said we are able to create chances but failing to score, so basically it’s a general problem, from Division Two to Premier League, so we will work on it”, he said.
“Sometimes it is not our problem or not the players, it’s always their wish to score but it’s quite unfortunate, so it’s a general one like I said, we will work on it”, he added.
The Green & Black lads have managed 6 wins, 5 draws, 7 losses, scoring 19 and conceded 19 goals in 18 games so far.
The Basake based club are currently 10th on the league log with 11 points.
