The highly anticipated Kikam Kundum Football Gala Competition has officially been launched and is set to kick off in the first week of October this year.
The highly competitive tournament will span 3-day and will be held across six prominent areas of the town including two outside communities.
The event aims to foster unity and camaraderie among residents while celebrating Kikam Kundum and grassroots football talent in Kikam and surrounding communities.
Eight teams will play the tournament and the top four teams will progress to the semi finals to decide the two finalist.
The launching took place on Sunday August 31, 2025 at the Conference Room of Wantapa Hotel and was witnessed and chaired by Nana Etsease II, Chief Of Kikam, Mr.Gastus Yaw, CEO, Gastonsin Gold Buying Agency, Hon.Paul Kwaw ( Assemblyman Kikam/ Asemko) and Hon Felix Ehwiadah Quayson, Vice Chairman, Ellembelle NDC, former Assemblyman for Esiama, Coach Kingsley Eben Sagoe- CAF License A holder, Lord Kiki Zani football expert and John Kwame, CEO Family Height Apparel Boutique, Esiama.
