Ex Asante Kotoko coach Middendorp set to take over Maritzburg United job
Former Asante Kotoko head coach Ernst Middendorp is set to arrive in the country on Thursday to begin official talks and finalise a deal to return to Maritzburg United.
This website revealed on Tuesday that Middendorp has been targeted by the KwaZulu-Natal club following their sacking of Eric Tinkler.
Middendorp has since resigned at Saint George in Ethiopia and will have to pay out a few months’ salary after leaving just a month into his three-year contract.
The former Amakhosi mentor is expected to rope in former Cape Umoya United head coach Maahier Davids, who has taken charge on an interim basis at St George, as one of his assistants at the Team of Choice.
