I cannot use “just one day” to build a team – Kotoko interim coach Johnson Smith
According to Asante Kotoko interim coach, Johnson Smith said he cannot use just one day to build a team after replacing Maxwell Konadu
Last week Thursday, the Porcupine Warriors terminated the contract of Konadu following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports stadium.
The former Black Stars assistant coach had been at the helm of affairs since December last year.
In his first match leading the dugout, Smith guided Kotoko to a 1-0 away victory over Dreams FC courtesy Ibrahim Moro’s 20th-minute strike in the Premier League on Sunday.
“I cannot use just one day to build a team. I cannot take any credit as it is not logical,” coach Smith said after Sunday’s game.
