If the 21-year Ex- Bibiani Gold Stars continues his goal scoring rate with 6 more goals this season, it will be his 64th scoring game in a Karela United shirt, the same as the former goal poacher during his career at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

Sampson Eduku put on Karela United shirt for the last time against Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday 2nd September 2017, netting his final ever goal for the club and securing his 64th scoring game.

In his four seasons at Karela, Sampson Eduku bagged an impressive 64 recognized goals in over 60 appearances, a feat many taught would not be beaten.

One by one the Black Stars forward Diawisie Taylor is edging nearly to the iconic tally to equal and to become Karela United’s All time Leading goal scorer.

Diawisie Taylor who is currently the leading top scorer in the Ghana Premier League has scored 58 competitive goals since his move to Karela United in 2016 from Bibiani Gold Stars.

His first Karela United goal came on match day 12 in a DOL clash against BYFA in 2017 and last goal was against Ebusua Dwarfs on February 14, 2021.
