The Ghana Football Association as part of adhering to the government’s measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 has suspended all football activities since March.

With the Covid-19 pandemic causing a shutdown of almost all sporting activities worldwide, pressure is mounting on the FA to make a final decision as regards to what happens to the local football leagues.

Opinions have being sharply divided on the matter with some countries scrapping their seasons while the more optimistic ones have penciled a future restart date in the event of their COVID-19 situation improves.

With the Ghana FA still in consultations about the way forward, Godfred Yeboah has advised that the GFA should continues the season but with proper planning and measures. His
comments are inspired by the fact that the season had gotten off to a colorful start which he applauds FA boss Kurt Okraku for it.

“The virus has affected each and everyone, not only Karela,Karela is ever ready to play if good measures are kept in place,we miss football and we are always ready to bring back the love” he told domesticsportsgh’s Benjamin K. Bonzoh (Sir Benzyma).

“No matter what it is, I think the FA must put some measures to the ground for government because the government will decide what we have to do. If the FA put up good measures that people will be safe, then why not” he
noted.

Karela United were 17th position in the league with 11 points after 15 matches.

” Karela will not be relegated should the league continues, but safety first if we really want the league to be back “Yeboah added.

Ghana football season will be decided after June 30.
