Henry Wellington reveals why he joined Nzema Kotoko
The experienced tactician was appointed to replace former coach, Christian Lokko after some poor form of results during the pre-season due to misunderstanding between the two parties.
However, following his appointment, the 47-year-old has revealed exactly why he chose to welcome the challenge of the red armies in his career.
“The difference is that, I just want to make history with the team as I did earlier with Dreams fc , Hearts of oak and Asante Kotoko”.
“And also Dignitaries from all facets who have the club at heart kept calling me every now and then, including our own Mark Addo to join this family so we can make history together ),” he told Nzema based West End Radio
“I think it was right I made that decision, because the efforts from the officials to get me was greate, and in football too, even players go where they are wanted most.
Most of the times it’s not about where you get the most money but if you go where you are wanted the most that is where you are mostly successful, so I think the timing is right and I don’t think there will be a problem”I’m very happy to join this club especially their culture and past histories ” He revealed this as well to West End Radio in an exclusive interview held on Sunday.
The former Hasaacas gaffer has managed 23 games, with 11 wins , 5 draws and 7 loses since he took over as head coach in January 2020.
