“It’s unsafe to continue the season ,the league should be cancelled “- Nzema Kotoko captain advices
Atwe Nzema Kotoko defender Felix Ackah has called for the cancellation of the 2019/20 Ghana football season following the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in Ghana,even medical experts are insisting it will be unsafe to return to playing anytime soon.
The top flight league has been suspended since March this year after President Akuffo Addo announced the banning of all social gatherings including sporting activities.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has brought alot of problems worldwide ,we need to take time before we make any decision ” we need to take our lives into considerations and I think we should cancel the league and start at fresh ” Ackah told West End Radio.
Nzema Kotoko were on 5th position in the DOL Zone II before the league was suspended after 13 games.
