Appiah, who was paid  $35,000 a month salary was shown the exit by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on December 31 following  Black Stars painful exit from the 2019 African  Cup of Nations in Egypt.

According to reliable source from his camp, the former Al Khartoum manager has threatened to drag the GFA to FIFA should they  fail to meet his deadline.

The 60-year-old has served the FA with a third letter.

However, according to the GFA Club Licensing Board Chairman, GNPC deals with sustainability in Sports development, and as part of the requirements supports the Ministry of Youth and Sports and is not responsible for payment of the Black Stars coach.

“GNPC doesn’t have a commitment with Kwasi Appiah neither do we have same with the GFA.

“We don’t have any contract with Kwesi Appiah neither do we have any contract with the Ghana FA,” he added.

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation has come into public discussion on their refusal to pay the 5 months arrears of James Kwasi Appiah who left the Black Stars job in December 2019.
