“Residents of Half Assini in Jomoro cry over uncompleted Stadium project”
The Municipal youth of Half Assini in the Jomoro municipality in the Western region are crying over the current state of their new park, a project promised to be financed by the Member of Parliament of the area Hon Paul Essien.
Speaking to West End Radio Hard Tackle sports on Monday, the assembly man of the area Hon Ernest Owusu revealed that the project has being overlooked since 2019.
” The project was a promise by our honorable MP which was to be completed last year but up to now nothing has been completed “the uncompleted field is bushy as Forest” he told West End Radio.
The project according to him started in 2018 and was supposed to be completed last year October.
The deputy chieftaincy minister made an earlier promise to construct a new field for his people as he revealed during his campaign manifesto .
” According to the contractor it was 6-month but yet almost a year nothing has been shown that the project will be completed “so we are therefore pleading with honourable to come to our aid ” he added.
Hon Ernest Owusu is the Assembly man for Amanzule electoral area in Half Assini.
