Former Ghana youth star Clifford Aboagye bids an Emotional farewell to Querétaro FC
Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye has taken to Twitter to wave farewell to Querétaro FC following the end of his loan deal.
Aboagye joined the Mexican Liga MX outfit on a season-long loan from Atlas FC with an option to sign a permanent deal.
However, the former Granada midfielder has turned down the option to sign a permanent contract at the club despite being a fan favourite.
Liga MX champions Santos Laguna are believed to be the leading club for his signature with Club Necaxa also monitoring his situation.
Both clubs are reported to be prioritizing a move for the diminutive midfielder, who has made a combined 103 appearances in the Liga MX since joining three years ago.
The 25-year-old took to Twitter to issue a farewell message to the club.

The former Inter Allies midfielder netted one goal in 33 matches for the side.
He impressed in his first season in Mexico and the deal was made permanent in 2017/2018 campaign.
