Karela United commiserate with Offinso Accident victims
Nzema based premiership side Karela United, have sent words to express their sympathy with Africa Vision Soccer Academy who were involved in a fatal accident on Saturday evening.
According to reports, the front tire of the bus carrying over 30 colts footballers blasted on the Offin bridge and skewed into the Offin River.
Eight of the young footballers are dead and about twenty-two others are at the St. Patrick Hospital in Offinso receiving treatment.
It is believed the Offinso based outfits were returning home after travelling to Afrancho, a suburb in Kumasi to register their players for the upcoming season.
Karela United football club grieves with the families of all the players and staffs of Africa Vision Soccer Academy affected by the tragedy at Offinso on Saturday. May the young souls Rest In Peace. We ask for divine healing for those hospitalized at the moment, the club stated on their official website.
