EXCLUSIVE: GFA set to name Technical Director Today
Domesticsportsgh.com can confirm that the Ghana Football Association will name it’s new Technical Director today.
The GFA has been pressured on matter relating to the vacant position.
The GFA has been without Technical Director since the departure of Oti Akenten who left the position on contractual reasons.
GFA boss in an interview with Citi Sports, confirmed the announcement of the new Technical Director is imminent.
“We are in the home stretch, and very clear as to who the person is”
“I’m sure that soon Ghana will get to know the person and the composition of the directorate.
In all, about 200 candidates applied for the job and 8 candidates were shortlisted, before it was eventually cut to 6, consisting of three Ghanaians and three others of foreign citizenship.
