Mohammed Bashar joins Nigerien side AS SONIDEP
Nigerien giants AS SONIDEP have appointed Ghanaian coach Ogba Mohammed Bashar as the club’s new technical head for the upcoming season.
Ogba Mohammed Bashar was tasked to take over Nzema Kotoko team but left the team after 5-days for technical and personal reasons.
According to our reliable source, Bashar wasn’t satisfied with the club facilities and other personal stuffs.
Bashar was in charge of Sahel FC in the Niger Premier League in the 2019/2020.
Sahel were lying 2nd on the standings before the championship was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The Ghanaian tactician won 12, drew 3 and lost 5 out of the 20 matches he played at the time of the cancellation of the league.
Bashar holds a CAF License A certificate and has handled Sporting Mirren in the Ghanaian second-tier.
He has also been in charge of clubs like Rising Star Academy, Vodafone FC, Rago Stars, Zaytuna FC, Steadfast FC and Danbort FC all in Ghana.
And also a lower-tier outfit De Sapele Lions FC in Nigeria.
Bashar is tasked to guide SONIDEP to the group stage of the CAF Champions League and also win the Niger top-flight championship.
