Armed Robbers raid Legon Cities and Chelsea dressing room to steal items
Notorious robbers ensured that the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season got off to an ignominious start after raiding the dressing rooms of Legon Cities and Berekum Chelseas while the opening match of the season was underway.
Cities and Chelsea were robbed whilst playing in the premiership opener at the Accra Sports stadium on Saturday night.
The unknown thieves broke into the dressing rooms of the two teams to steal valuable items including monies.
Laptops, monies and phones have all been taken away whiles the match was ongoing.
Ironically the match was played behind closed doors on Saturday.
