OFFICIAL: Karela United capture ex-Hearts striker Maxwell Boakye on a 2-year deal
Former Hearts of Oak striker Maxwell Boakye has signed a two-year deal with Karela United to provide a squad boost for the side.
The Aiyinase-based club has been outstanding since the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League commenced.
Now in the top-four and tipped as one of the few clubs with a good chance of winning the league title at the end of the season, officials of Karela United have decided to strengthen their squad.
Today the club has wrapped up the signing of striker Maxwell Boakye to add to the quality of in-form attacker Diawisie Taylor.
Before joining Karela United, the attacker had a trial session with South African side Bloemfontein Celtic.
Last season, Maxwell Boakye played for Bibiani Gold Stars where he scored 10 goals after making 13 appearances in the National Division One League.
