“Fabio Gama not better than our midfielders, He’s just overhyped” – Stephen Abugri
Karela United assistant coach Stephen Abugri hails Asante Kotoko Brazilian Star, Fabio Gama as good player but feels he is just overhyped and there is no room for him in his team.
The Brazilian star has been sensational for Kotoko since his maiden debut in the Ghana Premier League for the Porcupine Warriors.
Ahead of their crucial encounter with Asante Kotoko, Abugri acknowledged Gama’s quality, and he believes the Kotoko midfielder won’t make it into Karela United starting lineup.
“He is good, but he won’t have a place in our team, he is just overhyped” Our midfielders are far better than him” he revealed this after their game against Legon Cities on Thursday evening.
The Current Leaders were held to a goalless drawn game in today’s week 12 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Karela host Asante Kotoko on Sunday in a titanic duel at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
