Ibrahim Imoro explains his subdued celebration after his goal against Karela United
Asante Kotoko defender Ibrahim IMoro has explained his subdued celebration after scoring in Asante Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League matchday 13 win over Karela United.
The ex Karela United star spoke of his respect for Karela and said it was why he was unable to celebrate his stunning goal.
Moro dragged the porcupine warriors giants back into the game with his sublime effort.
The 23-year-old was subdued in his celebration, highlighting the significance of Karela in his career.
“It was against the team where I learned my trade,” Imoro said. “The club has a place in my heart and I have a lot of respect for them. That’s why I couldn’t celebrate it.”
Kotoko broke the CAM Park record with 2:0 win over the Karela United.
