“ Karela will win the league” – Maxwell Boakye assures supporters
Karela United new signing Maxwell Boakye is confident that his outfit will win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title despite dropping from top spot to the second position following their painful defeat to Asante Kotoko.
The 27-year-old joined the Aiyinase-based club from Division One side Bibiani Gold Stars on a free transfer.

However, the former Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars top marksman believes his outfit are clear favourite for the title and has promised to give his all in order to help them clinch the title.
“I believe Karela United will win the league. I’m 100% sure because the team have got quality. People may argue about it but I believe my club is ready for something” he told S.K Ntim of Bryt FM in Koforidua.
“The motivation in the team is high so I hope to do my best for the club to achieve our dream. I’m going to score more to make history with the club” he said.
