Maxwell Boakye vows to score more goals for Karela United
Former Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Maxwell Boakye has said that he is ready to give his best to his new side Karela United.
The 27-year-old recently joined the Anyinase based club from Division One side Bibiani Gold Stars on a free transfer.
Karela United who are chasing a first league title in their history see the arrival of the creative midfielder as a boost to their chances of success.
The ‘Pride of the West’ has been outstanding in the ongoing season and are currently occupying sit 2nd position with 22 points after 13 matches.
According to Boakye, he is ready to score more in order to help his outfit clinch the Ghana Premier League title for the first time in history.
“It is my duty to score goals so I am ready to do that. With the help of my players I believe I can achieve my target” he told S.K Ntim of Bryt FM in an interview.
Boakye has already started training with the Aiyinase-based club and expected to be included soon in their subsequent games.
