Ghanaian goalkeeper Razak Brimah has stated that humility and hardwork have helped his side perform well in the Spanish third division this season.
Linares Deportivo are currently 1st in the Segunda B Group 4 B table and Brimah has been a key player. He has earned eight clean sheets in 14 league matches, conceding 10 goals.
In an interview the diariocordoba.com, Brimah revealed the secrets to their success.
“I have always said that football is determination, knowing what you want to do, and we know it. Our coach gives us a very clear idea, clearer than water. We are a humble team, with humble teammates, who want to play professional soccer. If you see us training, it is spectacular. Everyone runs, everyone supports each other and we fight a lot. This is how the results come in. I hope we can continue like this for many years,” he said.

“The secret is humility and work, I think so. We have another very important secret: a very healthy locker room with very happy people, very jokers, and we had a great time. Nobody wants to leave because we are like a family. Hopefully we can get what we want,” he added.
“It would be something very beautiful and unique, that in a year and a half we managed to climb two categories. For our city, which has been going through a rough patch lately, and also for the squad, who both want to be able to enjoy a promotion. It would be something very special, to write our name in the history of the club,” he concluded.
