Akese Akese tasked to end his goal drought against Skyy FC
The Magical supporters union of National Division One League side, Nzema Kotoko has charged their goal monster Akese Akese to end his long drought of goals in week nine today, February 23, 2021 at the Azuleloanu Park as they host Skyy FC.
The sharp shooting target-man is yet to write his name in the goal scoring book this season.
Some session of Nzema Kotoko supporters speaking on West End Radio heavy sports had this to say, “We want Akese to score in our game against Skyy FC because he is yet to score in the league this season”.
He is our top striker and we need to see him score to build his lost confidence.
Akese became a household name in the domestic football after his sterling performance in his maiden season for the Red Armies in the 2018 Normalisation Committee Special Cup where he help the Nzema based outfits to the tier II finals where his side eventually loss 1:0 to Ashgold.
The 22-year old Nzema Kotoko’s wide man scored 7 goals and provided 5 assists in the tournament, which help him also secure a call up to the National under-23 side Black Meteors
