Ghanaian Premier League leaders, Karela United defeated Division II side Basake Holy Stars in a friendly on Saturday as part of their preparations ahead of the resumption of the second round.
The Passioners walloped Holy Stars 7:0 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park with goals from Karmaradini Mamudu, Obed Kofi Sam, Maxwell Boakye, Godfred Odamatey, Kwame Boateng, Reginald Thompson and Darlington Gyanfosu.
