Akese Akese scoops April’s player of the month award for Nzema Kotoko

Inform Nzema Kotoko goal poacher Akese Akese has won the Shaip Africa- Domesticsportgh’s Nzema Kotoko Player of the Month award for April.

Akese was nominated for the award, alongside team-mate Maxwell Kofi Kumado Katrin Berger, and beat off competition from another colleague Albert Gaisie.

The Nzema-born Star has been impressive for Nzema Kotoko this season and continued to shine for the Red Armies throughout April.

Akese netted a first double -half hat-trick in Nzema Kotoko’s 6-2 victory over Star Madrid at the start of the month and also played a major role in the Ampain-based club securing a 1-0 win agants Sekondi Hasacaas.
