Basake Holy Royals beat Fiase Golden Royals to win Western Region Division One Women’s League
Nzema- based Basake Holy Royals have advanced to the final stage of National Division One Women’s League following a 3-0 win over their opponent Fiase Golden Royals in a game played on Sunday at the Akoon Community Park.
The results means, Holy Royals are in the play-off stage waiting for the Central, Eastern, Greater Accra and Volta Regional winners for the final round to decide the club qualifying for the 2021/22 National Women’s League.
Holy Royals made a short trip to Tarkwa to win the Western Region Zone of the National Women’s Division One League.
The final whistle was greeted with celebrations from playing body, management and fans as the ambitious club based in Basake in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region wining the regional cup to play in the play off and battle for the only slot in the southern zone of the next season’s Women’s League competition.
