The District Health Director of Ellembelle, Dr. Augustine Amoako has urged football fans in Ellembelle to go for the Covid-19 vaccination in other to be saved at the match centres in the ongoing Ghana Football campaign.
According to him, the Health Directorate will work together with the clubs and stakeholders to ensure that fans take their COVID-19 jabs and must prove that they have been vaccinated before they will be allowed to watch games at the various league centres.
” We are engaging club owners here to assist us ensuring all football fans entering the stadium had been vaccinated”.he told West End Radio on Monday.
” Let us try to go for the vaccine and help control the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic”.
” We have written to the three clubs here( Karela, Nzema Kotoko and Basake Holy Stars) to help us get all their fans vaccinated before entry”.
According to him, Ellembelle COVID-19 cases is gradually going up and has currently recorded two positive cases with other suspected ones.
